The Scratch Night Lab returns to High Holborn on Sunday, August 9, 2026, but this time as a full day-to-evening summer festival!
The festival includes a Camden Fringe Mixer, a Scratch Night Lab show, featuring eight directors and eight new pieces of work, and a Scratch Lab Afterparty to finish!
This highly anticipated festival of live, experimental work-in-progress is hosted in collaboration with the The London Art Bar, a beautiful creative and LGBTQ+ hub in the middle of a corporate metropolis!
Scratch nights are designed to provide a low-pressure, welcoming platform for writers, directors, performers, and creatives to showcase new, rough, or experimental work.
If you are a performer, director, or writer, these events are heavily focused on creating community and creating work with other artists.
For an audience, it is a great opportunity to provide feedback to help with the progression and growth of the work, network with artists and immerse yourself in the London Art Bar's beautiful community vibe.
Produced by theatre-maker and facilitator Ella Rowdon and assistant produced by artist Felix Brown, this festival is not to be missed, and is a great way to celebrate London Theatre and creativity. See you there!
