Ning QIANG
Inspired by the mystical beauty of the Dunhuang frescoes, this contemporary dance work invites audiences into a dreamlike world where ancient imagery meets modern life.
Through flowing ribbons, layered tulle, ritualistic movement and everyday gestures, dancers journey between memory and reality, the sacred and the ordinary. A door opens, a phone rings, fingers type on an invisible keyboard — familiar actions begin to disturb a timeless, mysterious space.
The Eastern aesthetics with contemporary choreography, explores identity, connection and the human desire to belong. Poetic, visual and atmospheric, it asks where we come from, what we carry with us, and how belonging can be found in both distant myths and everyday moments.
