The Courtyard Theatre is in the heart of the cultural capital of Shoreditch, London. Homed in the historic Passmore Library Building. Offering two spaces in the venue The Studio is a spacious 216 standing and 65 seated capacity for music and studio theatre with soundproofing, and raised stage. The studio is perfect for rocking out to bands or Theatre wanting to be in an intimate and energetic space, next door to our atmospheric bar. Upstairs our theatre space, a large main house theatre with seating for 110 in our modular raked seating system. Perfect for inspiring theatre shows, solo musicians/songwriters, captivating panel talks, screenings and much more. The venues bar is open 45 minutes before performances and after the show up to midnight.
