You’re Alright is a new comedy dance show from award-winning choreographer, Sam Burkett. It combines comedy, contemporary dance, and physical theatre to take the audience along on a night out gone awry. You’re Alright follows the story of recently unemployed 20-something Charlie, who’s planning a night out with her best mate, Amber. Unfortunately, Amber’s running late, so Charlie's stuck with Amber’s annoying girlfriend until she arrives. It’s a night out of high-energy, queer fun with a hilarious and relatable storyline about queer friendship, growth, and accepting that sometimes you’re the one being a d*ckhead.
Known for being both highly creative and extremely sweaty, Sam Burkett is a choreographer and comedian whose work runs the emotional gamut from happy to sad to hungry to gay. Sam can be seen regularly performing improv across London, including at The Free Association as part of their queer house team, Summer Camp.
