Juliet Meyers: Passport Face

Juliet Meyers

Aces and Eights

When Juliet (writer on Sarah Millican TV and radio prog, Mock The Week, 8/10 Cats Does Countdown) went to India to trace her family roots (it's complicated!), she unleashed family feuds, bad gurus, smug sex therapists and irate monkeys. She drove her travelling companion nuts (and vice versa) and nearly died.

Stand-up/storytelling about identity, immigration, culture shock, redemption, coming last in a class Miss world contest when you're only nine, feminism and a very cringe-worthy poo story!

Juliet has been performing stand-up around the world for nearly 20 years and has previously had sold-out shows (most notably 'This Flipping Rescue Dog Has Ruined My Life' in which her dog co-stars) at The Edinburgh, Oxford, Greater Manchester and Buxton Fringe in the UK as well as in Adelaide and Melbourne in Australia.
