My name is Min. I work in a perfume shop. My life is full of repetition and numbness, and the world grows thinner and more tasteless every day, like a bowl of watered-down wartime soup.

Sometimes I feel like I’ve drifted up to the ceiling, but I am still functioning. I still joke with my colleague Alex.

Until one day, everyone’s face becomes the same. Something isn’t right!
This strange face blindness gets me into awkward and hilarious situations, but it also makes me notice people in other ways, their accents, the way they speak, and the scent of their perfume on their skin.

Smells begin to bring me back.
