Where Flowers Breathe
Harper WANG
I have always loved flowers.
Because they are delicate, because they never seem to rush. They simply grow, open and exist in their own time.
This work came from that feeling.
The movement begins close to the floor and slowly finds its way upwards. There are moments of stillness, moments where almost nothing changes, and moments where the smallest movement suddenly feels enough.
I hope this performance gives people some time away from rushing. A gap to breathe, to look, and perhaps to remember that beauty doesn't always ask for attention.
