Prateek Kohli: Trying to Talk
Prateek Kohli
A stand up comedy show with a theme of how we are talking less and less. The jokes would cover politics, immigration, technology and a lot of observations about every day life.
Prateek is an upcoming Indian comedian who started doing standup in California, and moved to London in 2022. Since then he has been performing in pro nights at the Comedy Store, Comedy Cellar Bracknell, Backyard comedy club and more. He was also runners up in the West End New Act Of The Year in 2024, along with finishing as a finalist in many other competitions.
He has been part of the sold out split bill show Two and a half Indians at the Bill Murray in Angel, and Leicester comedy festival. This is his first solo show.
He has been building this show with love with his frustrations of how disconnected we have become in this age of 24*7 connectivity. He also feels very awkward talking about himself in third person.
