Love and Information by Caryl Churchill
Out of Pocket Theatre
Romance is virtual. Facts are feelings. Memories are trapped in the walls. Violence is only a stone's throw away. In the age of artificiality, connection feels as near as it is far. So, how do we settle for the little we know and commit to the love we have? How do we find meaning in our information obsessed society? And who put that hedgehog in the microwave?
This is an intimate and exciting new revival of Churchill's kaleidoscopic modern classic, directed by Rebecca-Jo Roberts & Daniel Metcalfe and produced by brand new theatre company Out of Pocket. It was originally staged at The Oxford School of Drama with a cast of third year acting students, who have reassembled to bring this poignant show to The Cockpit for the Camden Fringe 2024.
"Creatively conceived, excellently directed, and beautifully acted.” Joanna Weir Ouston - Director, actor, writer and world-leading Linklater voice practitioner.
“A company overflowing with intimacy and creative heart.” Kirsty McFarland - Movement practitioner, actor and director.
