How You Died
Dark Skies Ensemble
‘A’ and ‘B’ are childhood friends, who are catching up after ten years. ‘A’ was a successful lawyer and ‘B’ was a famous children’s presenter. There’s only one thing getting in their way... ‘B’ has been dead for ten years.
Ten years on. Technology is flourishing and the world has developed holograms to represent those that have passed. 'A' can finally get the closure that will allow them to live. Yet, what begins as a night of nostalgia and reconciliation unearths discussions of power, lies and secrets...
This debut play by Edith Keays is performed in collaboration with Dark Skies Ensemble. Directed by Ellie Jay Stevens, artistic director of Dark Skies Ensemble, and designed by Hugo Dodsworth with performances from Lois Baglin and Tom Gould-Scott. 'How You Died' was performed at the Old Red Lion Theatre in February to a sold-out audience receiving 5-star (Lost in Theatreland) and 4-star reviews (The Reviews Hub, London Pub Theatres and Fringe Biscuit.)
