GOOD BOY by James Farley

Sarah Lawrie presents

Trauma (noun) /ˈtrɔː.mə/: an overwhelmingly distressing, negative or intense event that overwhelms a person's capacity to cope.
Boy looks young for his age. He knows this. Wide-eyed and naive, Boy discovers that the joys of sex and love, for him, come under pre-negotiated conditions:
He must be the bottom, he must be submissive and most importantly... he must be shaved.
Meeting the man that would be his first kiss, date, and his first boyfriend he willingly accepts his role to keep the man who loves him happy. But, after stumbling across a devastating secret, their relationship crumbles and Boy’s entire world shatters. Descending into a spiral of desperation, can Boy find his way out by confronting his past?
This is a comedy of trauma, the social politics of Grindr, and suicidal rabbits. And unbelievably, it is all true.

Already described as 'the next Fleabag - honestly even better!', this solo show is is in partnership with SurvivorsUK, Mrs C's Collective and Manchester Pride.
