Mark Janicello, a clasically-trained operatic tenor whose pop singing has drawn remarkable comparisons to Elvis, will perform material that highlights the emotional breadth and vocal nuance of Presley’s work without resorting to imitation. "ELVIS & ME" will be notable for its connection to an unreleased piece of Elvis' history. After working with Janicello, Ben Weisman shared an unreleased Elvis song titled "Will You Still Be There," one of three songs Weisman Elvis was to have recorded for what would have been his final, unfinished album. "Will You Still Be There" became Janicello's first commercial recording. The song was a sensation which resulted in Janicello being hired to play Elvis in "ELVIS: The Musical Biography" which proved to be a breakthrough role for him in Europe. The inclusion of this rare work in "ELVIS & ME" underlines the concert’s blend of tribute, discovery, and unique vocal artistry.
