On what should have been a joyous night out, Maisy meticulously follows all the right steps. However, despite her best efforts, the evening takes a dark turn, leading Maisy to confront the consequences of the harrowing events that unfold.
The piece is at approximately 40 minute
‘I wanted to write a play which encapsulates a feeling women dread- being a victim-survior of assault and losing possession of her body. I read an artcle in the news regarding a woman who experieneces an assaut on a night out and and began looking into victim-surviors accounts. maisy’s story is an amalgamation of that, and this idea that it is not ok today, it will never be ok, but tomorrow may feel better, it can feel better’
