A giant clock
stands silently in this space
aloof, and desolate
it is a miracle, yet it bears pressures never meant for it
until the moment it collapses, people remember—
perhaps time, too, is worth questioning

someone treats time as power
someone tells lies flawlessly
someone trades life for reward
someone is drawn into the scheme, unable to escape
they are all hidden within the conspiracy of time
as sunlight falls and shadows fade, people seem to have lost something
