Rag Spaceship
Cat and Pigeon Productions
When her beloved grandfather dies, Rag Spaceship, a young autistic person with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), starts a stream of consciousness journey into her memories, conversing with two contrasting parts of her brain. She observes from her perspective the love her grandparents have for each other and for her. She then tries to navigate through the challenges which arise when she finds herself in the role of a carer for her grandmother with dementia.
Built from both imagination and fragments of real stories, this intimate solo show is an emotional and thought-provoking journey through laughter and tears, exploring the reality of neurodivergent people during challenging times.
The play includes 6 characters either played by the solo actor or in voiceover.
