Dance Again
Andreas Bedorf
Dance Again follows Noa through one night at a music festival — a psychedelic celebration of love and unity that collapses into a massacre.
The play explores an unfolding terror attack from the perspective of a brain under the influence of mind-expanding drugs. Told through the distorted lens of LSD and guided by a live DJ who sculpts the atmosphere in real time, the play oscillates between ecstatic peaks and traumatic episodes, fracturing Noa's reality until she can no longer tell trip from truth. All while confronting the vanishing of her partner, her friends, the very idea the dance floor represents.
What follows is a reckoning with irreversible loss and the question of whether joy can ever be reclaimed.
Based on real events, Dance Again is a love letter to rave and festival culture, and a confrontation with terror choosing it as battlefield — a memorial, a rave, and a refusal.
