The Saucer
CADS

Light and frothy comedy with music inspired by the true events of The Great Saucer Invasion.
It's 1967 and a flying saucer is discovered at the NASA satellite tracking station in the village of Winkfield, then another five along the 51st parallel. Is this a psyop, a nuclear, chemical or biological attack, extra-terrestrial or something else?
Coinciding with the state visit of Queen Frederika, enthusiastically conducting foreign affairs for her country, hippie UFO followers gather at the tracking station amongst them an enigmatic free thinking cosmologist. This comedy is light, frothy entertainment recalling the heady optimism and evolving attitudes of the 1960s, with nods to Star Wars, Lost in Space, Star Trek, Dr Who, The Bionic Man etc
