Our Town and In the Middle of the West
The Italia Conti 2nd Year Actors Ensemble

The Italia Conti 2nd Year Actors Ensemble will be performing:
OUR TOWN by Thornton Wilder
Directed by Ruby Etches
Thursday 31st July 4pm
Friday 1st August 1pm
Saturday 2nd August 4pm
Our Town explores birth, love, loss and the beauty of overlooked moments, in the fictional American town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire from 1901 to 1913. In a world obsessed with speed, our play reimagines Thornton Wilder’s classic through a modern meta-theatrical lens - where time bends and relevance deepens. With minimalist staging, actors break the fourth wall and audiences confront their own presence in the story. A pioneering play of its time, Our Town broke theatrical conventions - and through postmodernity, it still holds a mirror to today’s world with striking clarity.
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEST
By Steve Gilroy
Directed by Alexander Knott
Thursday 31st July 1pm
Friday 1st August 4pm
Saturday 2nd August 1pm
In the Middle of the West is a Verbatim piece that weaves together the powerful stories of the people whose lives changed after what remains America’s most destructive domestic terror attack. In Oklahoma City on April 19th 1995, Timothy McVeigh, detonated a truck bomb outside the Alfred P Murrah Federal building, killing 168 people. In a new production featuring compelling movement, memorable songs, and personal interviews from those affected.
Please note that a ticket will gain your entry to only one of the plays - Our Town or In the Middle of the West - which are being performed on different times and dates (listed above.) Please make sure you have booked for the correct performance if you want to see a specific show.
