July 15th to …

Wangjiayu Chu (Stephanie)

How do you move forward when your mind keeps pulling you back? July 15th to ... is a one-act Physical Theatre exploration of Bipolar Disorder and Healing.

Through flashbacks and dynamic shifts in time, this show explores the highs and lows of Ella’s world—moments of excitement and creativity with unstoppable energy, followed by deep sadness and overwhelming darkness. Ella’s emotions take central stage, shaping the world around her. Time feels unpredictable, memories blur with reality, and the weight of grief is always present. It’s a story about the impact of trauma, the struggle to regain control, and the search for healing.

July 15th to ... gives the audience a glimpse into the inner struggles of someone battling their own mind. It asks an important question: Can trauma ever lead to healing?

At its heart, this play is not just about mental illness—it’s about being human. It challenges us to reflect on pain, resilience, and what it truly means to heal. It is more than a performance; it’s an experience that stays with you, making you feel, think, and question the way we see mental health and recovery.
