Don’t Call Me Blondie
Echoism Productions

“... Things can never just be easy, can they?”
Six monologues. One hour.
Love, heartbreak, and lust are - arguably - some of the most relatable yet alienating feelings a person can experience. These emotions are riddled with contradiction: pushing us to our limits, unearthing our deepest insecurities, and often leaving us unsure of who we are.
In this bold and captivating collection, the characters of “Don’t Call Me Blondie” grapple with the messy, complicated truths of relationships, self-worth, and desire. From toxic love to the emotional fallout of infidelity, these six standalone monologues deliver raw, unfiltered insight into the quiet chaos of modern intimacy.
“Don’t Call Me Blondie” is the debut play by Belle-Ann Daly-Morgan, a playwright and director currently studying Writing for Performance at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama (2027 cohort). A graduate of Elstree Screen Arts Academy, Daly-Morgan’s work is known for its brutal honesty and thoroughly human core. This also marks the launch of Daly-Morgan's theatre company, 'Echoism Productions'. As artistic director, she is committed to giving young, under-represented creatives a platform.
Told with biting wit and emotional precision, “Don’t Call Me Blondie” offers an intimate snapshot of six people caught in emotionally charged moments - funny, flawed, and fiercely honest.
Join us for an hour of confessions, connections, and contradictions.
